Results of horror questionnaire.

These are the responses we received from our questionnaire that we have taken on board regarding our horror film:

According to our research 58.8% of people we asked said that they find a stalker aged 30 and over the most scary, we are taking this on board and will make our antagonist over 30 years old. 

In addition to this our antagonist will be male as 82.4% of people we asked said that they find male antagonists scarier than female antagonist. Our chosen gender for our antagonist is supported by our audience research.

According to our research 58.8% of people we asked said that the most appropriate location for a psychological horror is a basement. One of our chosen locations is a basement which is supported by our audience research. We believe a basement has the strongest effect on the audience as they are dark and underground.

 The majority of people we asked said that they feel that garden tools are the most appropriate physical weapons to use for a psychological horror. We agree with this as garden tools are accessible to everybody which adds to their scare factor. Therefore in our filming we will use garden tools as our chosen weapons.
