Our chosen font:
The type of font that we have chosen to use in our film
opening has been inspired by the film opening of 'Seven' (1995). The font used
comes across as obsessive which we believe links to our antagonist's
nature and is therefore the most appropriate type of font to use in our
opening. The font is hand written which makes it more personal to the
audience, this is a very common technique in psychological horrors.
Psychological horrors try to reach their audiences on a more personal level by
playing on emotions with suggestion rather than stating the obvious.
